Melissa Page is a mother, wife, orphaned daughter, and curious human. With over two decades of experience as a dedicated medical professional, Melissa brings a unique blend of clinical knowledge, emotional insight, and deeply human understanding to her work as registered clinical counsellor. Her journey into counselling is a natural extension of her lifelong commitment to care, healing, and connection.
As a wife of 20-years to a cancer survivor and mother to three teens, Melissa understands the layered demands of relational, emotional, and identity-based challenges and has developed a profound sense of empathy and compassion that informs her counselling practice, holding warmth and attunement that makes clients feel seen, heard, and valued. She understands, both personally and professionally, the complexities of life and the deep healing and integration that can occur with therapeutic reflection, safety, and exploration. Grounded in an embodied approach, Melissa believes that healing occurs not only through conversation but through awareness of the body and emotions as integral parts of the human experience. She works with sensitivity to each client’s pace and story with her work being rooted in the belief that healing happens through connection—within ourselves, with others, and in the space shared together.
When not at work, Melissa enjoys hiking with her family, long walks with her Mexican rescue dog (the English bulldog can’t keep up!), trying new coffee shops, adventure travel, and reading everything from mystery books to neuroscience. Melissa strongly believes her previous life experience of a bartender turned dental hygienist turned therapist are vital to this work in driving a dark sense of humor and a love for the human experience and all it entails.
